The 23-year-old Romania international came up through the Inter youth academy and has spent the last few seasons on loan at Bari, Benevento, Novara and Palermo.
Last term, he scored nine Serie B goals with three assists in 33 games for Palermo.
His record at international level is an impressive four goals in eight senior caps, also netting 16 times in 23 games at Under-21 level.
