Massimo Rastelli tipped his hat to Napoli after Cagliari were swept aside 5-0 on home turf.

“I think up until the first goal, it was the game I expected,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We faced a great team, we pressed them and tried to take away time and space to think, but the moment they took the lead, the match swung their way.

“After their second and third goals, well, the game was all over. More than blame us for the defeat, I think we should tip our hats to the quality of a great Napoli side that worked very hard.

“It’s a pity to lose by such a wide margin, but we have to accept the verdict on the pitch. The fact remains we’re mid-table and that’s a good position to be in for a newly-promoted side.”
