“It’s normal that we had to show more strength after conceding so many goals,” Rastelli explained to Sky after the match.

“I told the lads to be solid and not to give much away. It was a difficult, dirty game because the stakes were high.

“It’s normal that when you have two heavy losses in a row you can be a bit nervy. In the second half I told the lads to be more calm and not to think about technical errors.

“I’m happy for the win and for our captain, we wrote another beautiful page today.

“We knew the importance of this game, because today we put 10 [nine] points between us and the bottom three. It was a game where we had to concentrate and the lads did well.

“We have a good gap which means we can work calmly, but we still have to battle every Sunday.”
