The most intriguing market is in Turkey, where Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray have shown a strong interest in Inter defender Ranocchia.
Their transfer deadline is 22.00 GMT tonight, so any deal with the Nerazzurri will have to be processed quickly.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Galatasaray will pay €2m to take Ranocchia for six months, though it remains to be seen whether they will include an option to buy at the end of the season.
Other transfer sessions go on for even longer, as the deadline in Argentina is February 11, it’s the 15th in Switzerland and the 24th in Russia where they have Luciano Spalletti’s Zenit.
Marcello Lippi and Guangzhou Evergrande can still attempt to sign Alessandro Diamanti from Bologna and Parma’s Jonathan Biabiany until the Chinese window closes on February 28.
The deadline in Japan is March 29, Brazil March 31 and the MLS is active until April 15.
