Inter captain Andrea Ranocchia has officially extended his contract with the club until June 2019.
This decision had been in the air for some time and the Nerazzurri waited until today to deposit the contract with the authorities.
The 27-year-old centre-back has been at San Siro since joining from Genoa in January 2011.
He inherited the captain’s armband last year when Javier Zanetti retired.
Ranocchia has 20 senior Italy caps to his name.
