Sampdoria coach Claudio Ranieri said he’s ‘very happy’ with the Blucerchiati this term. ‘Inter are flying and we beat them’.

Ranieri’s future with Sampdoria is uncertain, as his contract expires in June 2021 and patron Massimo Ferrero doesn’t seem eager to renew with the 69-year-old.

But the Ligurians sit 10th in Serie A after 30 games and had a great start to the campaign.

“Up to now, I’m very happy with my team’s performances,” Ranieri told the club’s official channel.

“We have won against great teams. Let’s not forget about Inter, who are flying towards a great season, and we beat them.

Ranieri currently prepares to face ninth-placed Hellas Verona at the Marassi tomorrow and could close the gap up to their direct rivals to two points with a win.
