The Giallorossi have again spent the summer revamping their squad after Zeman replaced Luis Enrique once he decided to quit.

“I see some good things, very good things, and the squad has been strengthened,” the now Monaco boss noted.

“Then, they also have Zeman. He’s a great Coach and I’m a big admirer of his work. His Roma deserve great faith.”

Roma finished seventh last term, thus failing to qualify for European competition.

Ranieri started his career at Roma as a player and was Coach between September 2009 and February 2011. He resigned after his side let a 3-0 half-time lead slip in a 4-3 loss at Genoa.
