Controversial agent Mino Raiola has launched an astounding attack on FIFA and UEFA as “Mafia-style organisations” with “incompetent and demented dictators” at the helm.

The agent represents players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli, doing much of his work in Serie A.

He is no stranger to outlandish statements, but let loose in Swedish newspaper Sport-Expressen.

“FIFA and UEFA are anything but transparent and in some ways could be compared to Mafia-style organisations,” said Raiola.

“The Ballon d’Or would only be important if it was won by Ibrahimovic. It is a political and corrupt award.

“Sepp Blatter is a demented dictator. Michel Platini’s Financial Fair Play project proves he is incompetent.

“As far as UEFA and FIFA are concerned, the Qatari sheiks cannot sponsor PSG, so what do we do about sponsorship of the Champions League? They criticise PSG for their wages, but this is money that ends up in UEFA’s coffers.

“If I were the President of UEFA, I’d publish a spreadsheet to show where the money goes and all the decisions would be made via a majority vote, but none of that happens now.”
