Napoli goalkeeper Cabral Rafael has ambitions of returning to the Brazilian national side.
Although he has lost his place in the set-up following his summer move from Santos, the 23-year-old is eyeing a recall.
“My ambition is to get back in the Brazil squad,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “If I do well here then I will have that possibility.”
Rafael has spent most of the season as a back-up to on-loan Liverpool custodian Pepe Reina, but he has featured in the first team recently.
“I’ve settled really well into the city of Naples,” added the South American. “The fans are beautiful, the club is really important and there are great champions here.”
The Azzurri have stuttered of late which has left then eight points behind leaders Juventus, but Rafael insists the season is long.
“We think we have the necessary skills to win the title and we are working hard to make that happen. The Scudetto would be a dream.”
