Adrien Rabiot claims the 4-0 win against Cagliari was a “positive signal” from Juventus after losing the Supercoppa Italiana to Lazio.
After ending the year with a loss to the Biancocelesti, the Old Lady bounced back immediately with an impressive performance against the Rossoblu at Allianz Stadium on Monday.
Rabiot was pleased with the result and claimed it was “important” to respond after the match in Saudi Arabia in December.

“We played an excellent game,” Rabiot told Juventus TV. “It was important to do well, given that we had ended the year by losing a trophy. We had to give a positive signal.”
He was happy to have contributed after starting his sixth Serie A game since his move from PSG last summer.
“I feel very good, I’m getting better and better,” he said. “With [Blaise] Matuidi and [Miralem] Pjanic, we’ve done an excellent job.
“Over time, everyone is adapting to the principles of the coach.”
