There was a scare at Pescara during training today when Juan Fernando Quintero was taken ill and rushed to hospital.
The Colombian midfielder fainted in a training session this afternoon and an ambulance was called to the Vestina camp.
He was taken to hospital for tests and the club later confirmed he was diagnosed with a momentary drop in the flow of oxygen and/or blood to the brain, which resulted in him fainting.
"He is feeling better and after a drip will probably be allowed to leave hospital this evening," said Pescara medic Sabatini.
"It was probably an allergic reaction to some food or drink."
