And the leader of the Italian Football Managers' Association has conceded that those rumours look bad on the FIGC.
“Conte’s contract paid by sponsors? I don’t know. Nothing has been said to me,” he is quoted as saying by ANSA.
“[But if it’s true] I believe, it’s a sign of weakness from the Federation.
“The value of Conte as a Coach though is beyond question.”
