Only Andriy Shevchenko, Oliver Bierhoff, Mario Balotelli and Jeremy Menez had scored in both of their first two appearances with Milan before Christian Pulisic.

The USMNT captain found the net against Bologna and Torino in the opening two Serie A games of his career for Milan.

As highlighted by Opta, only four ex-Milan players had scored in their first two games for the Rossoneri before the American winger.

Former Germany international Bierhoff scored three goals in his opening two Serie A games with the Serie A giants in 1998 after a permanent transfer from Udinese. That Milan side, coached by Alberto Zaccheroni, went on to win the Scudetto in 1998-99.

Shevchenko scored one goal against Lecce and one against Perugia in 1999, Balotelli scored twice against Udinese and one goal against Cagliari in 2013, and Menez also netted three goals in his opening two Serie A games with Milan with one goal against Lazio and a brace away at Parma in 2014.
