Fiorentina‘s Erik Pulgar will join Galatasaray on loan, but Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini won’t follow him in Turkey as the Nerazzurri have reportedly rejected an offer from Fenerbache.

Pulgar has been struggling with playing time under Vincenzo Italiano this season and according to multiple reports in Italy, he is set to join Galatasaray on loan until the end of the season.

Pulgar’s exit means Sofyan Amrabat will likely stay at Fiorentina.

The Morocco international had been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but the Premier League side picked Juventus‘ Rodrigo Bentancur.

Pulgar could have travelled to Turkey along with Inter’s Gagliardini.

According to Calciomercato.com, Fenerbache had made an offer to loan the Inter midfielder, but both the player and the club rejected the offer.

Inter have already loaned Stefano Sensi to Sampdoria and Gagliardini will be an option to replace the suspended Nicolò Barella in the Champions League matches against Liverpool in February and March.

  1. Too bad, Gagliardini is an absolutely terrible player.

But I suppose inter wouldn’t have enough depth in midfield if he left as well as sensi.

Either way, hopefully both vecino and Gagliardini are gone in the summer. Awful players.
