Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered €60m to sign Inter striker Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis.

Icardi has spent the season on loan at PSG, scoring 20 goals in 31 appearances and winning the Ligue 1 title.

Now, Fabrizio Romano – reporting for Sky Sport Italia – claims the French giants would like to buy the Argentine but not for the €70m option to buy previously agreed.

Instead, they would be proposing €50m up front, with €10m to follow in bonuses.

PSG had until May 31 to buy the 26-year-old for €70m, but Romano assures talks are ‘ongoing’ between them and Inter.

Although €10m less than the asking price, €60m is still a considerable fee for Inter to receive in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
