Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Liverpool are all targeting Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam, claims France Football.

The Algeria international has been out of action since November after two serious knee injuries, but returned to training this week.

He has a €35m release clause in his contract and there are clubs prepared to activate it, or at least begin negotiations with Napoli.

France Football confirm that PSG are one of those sides, having already done business with Napoli in the past for Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani.

The Premier League is the most likely destination, as Liverpool are long-term admirers of Ghoulam and Coach Jurgen Klopp needs a more reliable figure on the left side of defence.

Manchester United have surged forward over the last few days and could even be prepared to pay the €35m release clause, which was negotiated by agent Jorge Mendes.

It is well known that Mendes has links with Jose Mourinho and is trying to get some of his clients to Old Trafford.
