“I am very proud for my family, because I came to Italy to play, while my ancestors left here to work,” he told Lazio Style Channel.
“I have the opportunity to play in Serie A and at the age of nearly 36, I’m proving it’s never too late to make a dream come true.
“It’s also a special time for Lazio, as on Wednesday we have the most important game of the season, the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta.
“We want to win today and gain confidence going into that match.”
