Sampdoria meanwhile will be without the injured Alex Ferrari, Edgar Barreto and right-back Fabio Depaoli.
Ex-Napoli defender Lorenzo Tonelli could be in line for a start against his old side.
Naples local Fabio Quagliarella is expected to start up front alongside former Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
New signing Maya Yoshida is expected to be on the bench for the home side following his switch from Southampton.
