Giacomo Raspadori is tipped to start his first game at Napoli in tonight’s home game with Lecce.

It kicks off at 19.45 at the Stadio Maradona.

Raspadori made his debut with the Partenopei in their 0-0 draw against Fiorentina on Sunday and is expected to start tonight, leaving Piotr Zielinski on the bench.

Napoli won 10 of their 22 Serie A matches with Lecce (seven draws, five defeats) and seven of the last 11 home games against the Giallorossi. However, the Partenopei lost the last meeting at home on February 2020.

Napoli could keep a clean sheet in the first two home games of the season for the second time in the last 39 years. They have kept five clean sheets in the last six games, as many as in the previous 24.

Victor Osimhen has contributed to six goals in the last eight games against newly-promoted teams.

Samuel Umtiti should start on the bench and make his debut in the second half. Lecce boss Marco Baroni will once again pick Federico Baschirotto in central defence. The 25-year-old is the player with the most defensive blocks in Serie A so far (22).

Lecce have lined up the youngest team in the first three Serie A games: 24 years and 244 days on average.

Probable line-ups: Napoli-Lecce

Lecce (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Tuia, Baschirotto, Pezzella; Gonzalez, Hjulmand, Askildsen; Strefezza, Ceesay, Di Francesco.
