Both Giovanni Stroppa and Andrea Sottil are already under pressure ahead of their meeting at the U-Power Stadium. Check out the probable line-ups for today’s first Serie A game.

Monza have collected two defeats in the opening two games, while Udinese have collected one draw and one defeat so far. Their meeting at the U-Power Stadium kicks off at 17.30 UK time today.

Stroppa has lost the last eight Serie A games, including six with Crotone between 2020 and 2021. Andrea Ranocchia suffered a fibula injury last week and will be out for three months, Marco D’Alessandro, Pablo Mari and Dany Motha Carvalho are also on the treatment table, so Stroppa doesn’t have many options at the back.

Stefano Sensi has scored three of his nine Serie A goals against Udinese, his favourite victim in Serie A.

Udinese are without the suspended Perez (two games). Braam Nuytinck is favourite over Jaka Bijol in defence.

Udinese picked up no draws in the last ten games against newly-promoted teams (seven wins and three defeats), the last draw was against Stroppa’s Crotone in 2020.

No player has contributed to more goals in away games than Gerard Deulofeu since March (six, four goals and two assists).
