The Azzurri came back from two goals down against Luis Felipe Scolari's side, and the 55-year-old has insisted that the team have to focus on the World Cup qualifier with Malta on Tuesday.
“We played a great game,” he told reporters. “After 30 minutes we conceded two goals and it looked like the game was over.
“But instead we got back into it. I saw some interesting things this evening.
“Mario scored a very good goal and has created a number of chances. The important thing now is to get three points against Malta.”
