The unsavoury incident reportedly occurred during an Azzurri training session this morning as they continued their preparations for the World Cup in Brazil.
However, in a brief encounter with journalists after the session, the tactician said the only chanting from fans he heard was positive.
“I only heard nice chants,” Prandelli said. “If there is then one which makes more headlines there’s nothing I can do about that.”
