But the Coach has called the shot-stopper the best in the business, whilst also remarking on Francesco Totti’s rumoured Italy re-call for the World Cup.

“Buffon is the best in the world,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He will be our goalkeeper at the World Cup.

“Totti deserves a lot of credit. It’s impossible not to think about Totti at the World Cup. But I don’t want to talk about it at the moment for luck.”
