Cesare Prandelli has no illusions that Italy “must win” their 2014 World Cup qualifying group.

The Azzurri were paired with Denmark, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Armenia and Malta in Group B during last night's Rio de Janeiro draw.

“We are Italy and our objective must be to win the group,” said Coach Prandelli.

When asked which of the five opponents would prove the most dangerous, he was hesitant.

“When you name one, you always run the risk of falling into a surprise trap.

“Right now I am still concentrated on the qualifiers for Euro 2012. Our duty as the Nazionale is to continue growing so we are ready for that appointment.

“There are quite a few months for us to go through that process before the World Cup qualifiers begin in August 2012.

“It must be clear that, simply due to the name and history of Italian football, we must win that group.”
