Italy boss Cesare Prandelli is expecting a tough match tomorrow against Czech Republic, but is delighted to be playing it in Turin.

The Azzurri can qualify for the World Cup on Tuesday with a win against the Eastern Europeans, but the Coach has claimed they will not take anything for granted.

“Tomorrow’s going to be an important game for us,” he told a Press conference. “We know that a good result will see us at the World Cup.

“We have great respect for the opponents though. We know they can attack the spaces well and have a midfield of excellent quality. We’ll have to be focused for the entire game because we know that Bulgaria have great ability.

“It’s a very important match.

“It’s going to be a great show, in front of a crowd of 40,000.

“We are going to be playing in the most beautiful stadium in Italy, perhaps in Europe. There is an extraordinary energy ahead of this game. I’m sure it will be an amazing evening.

“We never thought we’d be in this position in the group at the start of the campaign. The Eastern teams are a lot stronger than they were a few years ago. And there are also three teams that made the Euro finals..

“But we have built this qualification on consistency.”

Prandelli concluded by batting off questions about his future.

“The only thing I’m concentrating on in qualifying. That’s qualifying mathematically.”
