Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade says he ‘would take third place’ and praises Paulo Sousa.
La Viola recorded an impressive 4-1 win over Inter on Sunday to end the Nerazzurri’s 100 per cent winning start and go top of Serie A.
“There hasn’t been any reawakening because we were never sleeping,” Prade said to Radio Anch’io lo Sport.
“This year nothing is obvious in the league, it’ll be a strange season because all the teams have purposeful attitudes. Anything could happen.

“I would take third place today, straight away.
“We thought about Paulo Sousa four years ago, but then we chose Montella. He has international experience, this summer we went straight for him.
“We were the last team to choose a Coach, but we had clear ideas.
“There’s a great feeling now between the fans and the Coach, it’s part of football that people’s ideas were different at the start because of his Juventus background.
“The important thing is the work –Even if results can go missing, you can win the trust of the fans through commitment.”
