Udinese take on Sporting Braga in the Champions League play-off tonight and patron Giampaolo Pozzo has “great faith” in Francesco Guidolin.

The Friulani need to get past the Portuguese side if they are to reach the group phase of the competition.

“Guidolin is a great Coach who pays a lot of attention to the tactical details. We have great faith in him,” Pozzo told Sky Sport Italia.

“It also takes a little luck, but we want to go forward and target the group stage. We’ve got to make up for what happened last year.”

In August 2011 Udinese were knocked out of the Champions League play-offs by Arsenal.
