But the veteran centre-back has insisted that he is fully motivated by the challenge posed by the Grifone.
“President Preziosi saw me as the ideal player for this club, and for that I have to thank him,” he told Radio Nostalgia.
“I am very happy to be here, and am looking forward to playing with confidence and enthusiasm.
“A lot of new players came here in January, so we have to quickly turn ourselves into a proper team.”
