The France international recently signed a new contract with the Bianconeri which runs until 2019, with his salary seen as rising to €4.5m per year from €1.5m.

However, La Stampa – owned by the Agnelli family which also controls Juventus – reports that in addition to the aforementioned increase, Pogba’s salary will rise for every year he remains in Turin.

The newspaper states that should Pogba stay for the next three seasons and reach a certain number of appearances, the former Manchester United midfielder will see his wage rise to €6.5m.

As things stand, that figure would see the 21-year-old match Daniele De Rossi as the highest paid player in Serie A.
