Paul Pogba joined the Juventus squad for their pre-season tour to the United States but he’s not working with his teammates.

The 30-year-old Frenchman did not have a positive return to Turin last season, missing the majority of the campaign through various injuries.

In total, Pogba saw just 161 minutes of action across 10 appearances, a painfully low amount considering that he earns upwards of €8m net per season.

As highlighted by Gianluca Di Marzio, Pogba is not training with the Juventus squad in the US, instead continuing to carry out individual work in the gym, on the exercise bike or on the pitch.

He has been struggling with a knee issue for a year now and it’s still unclear when he’ll return to full fitness. What is apparent is that he won’t be 100% for the Serie A season opener against Udinese next month.

Due to this, Massimiliano Allegri trying to find an alternative for Pogba and is trying out youngster Kenan Yildiz.
