Mayor Federico Pizzarotti says the odds of Parma playing their next game against Atalanta have fallen to less than fifty per cent.

The mayor was in a meeting yesterday with the AIC and the team in an attempt to organise the failing club and get the championship back on track, having failed to play their last two fixtures.

His first assessment was cautiously optimistic, saying that Parma had a 50 per cent chance of playing their next game.

But today's statements, reported by ParmaLive.com, reveal that he is less bright in his outlook.

“The odds of the game being played have gone down to 40 per cent.

“We are conducting the technical examinations [to check if the resources are sufficient to arrange the game] together with the Lega. It's not likely, unless Parma themselves find the resources.”
