“With only four games to go, each round becomes fundamental,” confessed the Coach in his Press conference.

“The objective is to always give our best, well aware of our capabilities. We have respect for Inter, but also know our own qualities.”

The Aquile are boosted by the return to fitness of Argentina international midfielder Biglia, but Stefan de Vrij is still sidelined.

“We want to aim high. My contract renewal? That is a formality, but right now we need to concentrate on ending the season well.

“We analysed our most recent games to learn from them. We want to get everything we can from Serie A and the Coppa Italia Final.”

Miroslav Klose returns from suspension after the 1-1 draw away to Atalanta.

“Miro’s importance is clear to everyone, so he and Biglia bring quality and experience. Against Atalanta we didn’t move enough and they were man-marking us. We should’ve passed the ball around better.

“We still created huge scoring opportunities and at times you just need one to win. I hope tomorrow to play better coming out of defence, giving fewer reference points to our opponents.

“Recently we haven’t had as many points, but the attitude was right. Inter will be a tough side to take on and, like us, their strength lies in the attack.”

Felipe Anderson continues to hit the headlines, although of late his goals have dried up.

“He is a lad who would gladly keep going once the training session ends. He wants to improve. Over the last few games he was decisive even without scoring, as he sacrificed himself for the team.”
