Stefano Pioli hopes his Bologna side can kick on this week after their first win of the season against Livorno.

The Rossoblu beat the promoted side at the weekend to claim their first three points of the campaign.

But the Coach doesn’t want his men resting on their laurels against Cagliari tomorrow.

“I’m a pretty experienced Coach,” he told reporters. “So I know that we have not achieved anything yet.

“Winning was important, so I’m happy for that. But we haven’t done anything. It would be stupid to think otherwise.

“I expect my players to be fully focused for the Cagliari match, because we are in a delicate moment.

“Cagliari have had more or less the same team for three or four years now. They have some real quality and will be determined to win.

“We have to try and react to that and get a positive result for ourselves.”
