The creative midfielder earned a recall to the Italy squad thanks to his fine season at the Stadio Dall’Ara and caught the attention of some big clubs.
“I think Diamanti is a real added bonus for Bologna. As a Coach, I am hoping he stays here,” Pioli told Radio Deejay.
“He has improved so much since he arrived here, which is also why it is best he stays and I hope to continue working with him.”
