“This is a very important game, we know how to interpret these occasions and we’re proving that,” said Pioli in his Press conference.

“Parma are a quality side who have particularly special characteristics in attack. Cassano is with Totti the best at reading the game before anyone else and of putting their teammates in a position to score.

“I don’t know how Roberto Donadoni will set Parma out, but I do know we must focus on our own spirit and hunger that I’ve seen in recent games. We must put in a great performance and give our all.”

Bologna’s own attacking talent, Alessandro Diamanti, has not trained for the last few days due to flu symptoms.

He is still in the squad, but Cristaldo is out of action.

Bologna squad for Parma: Agliardi, Curci, Stojanovic, Antonsson, Cech, Crespo, Garics, Mantovani, Morleo, Natali, Radakovic, Sorensen, Della Rocca, Kone, Krhin, Laxalt, Pazienza, Perez, Acquafresca, Bianchi, Christodoulopoulos, Diamanti, Moscardelli
