Stefano Pioli feels he has become “a better man and a better Coach” after the Davide Astori tragedy, but Fiorentina are still suffering.
Astori died in his sleep on March 4, 2018, in the team hotel in Udine hours before their planned Serie A game.
He was 31 years old and the reasons for his sudden death are still not entirely explained.
“The lads and I have not yet recovered from this tragedy, because everything revolved around Davide,” Pioli told Sky Sport Italia during a tribute to the Italy international defender.
