Udinese midfielder Giampiero Pinzi doesn't feel Oriundi should be allowed to play for Italy even if they are Lionel Messi.
Italy boss Cesare Prandelli handed a debut to the Brazilian born Inter midfielder Thiago Motta in a friendly against Germany on Wednesday.
He has also included the likes of Amauri and Cristian Ledesma in previous squads.
"Thiago Motta is a good player, we know that," Pinzi said. "But a national team like Italy which has won the World Cup four times doesn't have to fit in Oriundi.
