Inter striker Ivan Perisic and his wife were burgled in Milan, with over €80,000 in items stolen, including luxury watches.

The incident was reported in La Stampa newspaper, noting Perisic arrived at the police station for an interview.

They are believed to have been robbed of three luxury watches, a Rolex worth €20,000, a limited edition Audemars Piguet worth €50,000 and his Hublot worth €12,000.

The watches – two belonging to his wife and one owned by the player – were in two separate containers.

It seems as if the robbery was only just discovered, but may well have happened during his trip to Croatia for international duty.

There were no signs of forced entry in the 19th-floor apartment.
