The Nerazzurri have already spent big on the market and director Piero Ausilio confirmed today that he needs to sell before buying more.
They are trying to sell Xherdan Shaqiri to Schalke 04 in order to raise the necessary funds for Perisic.
“The two clubs are constantly in contact and are negotiating, but I cannot say anything more. It just requires patience and we’ll see if they are able to reach an agreement,” Perisic’s agent Tonci Martic said this week.
