Liverpool target Mattia Perin says he will not leave Genoa in January, insisting he feels at home at Marassi.
The shot-stopper has been linked with a move away from the club, with the Reds mooted as a potential destination.
However, in an interview with Sky Sport, the Italian international played down rumours of his departure.
“Genoa is my home, for me it’s like being in Latina,” Perin explained, comparing the port city to his home town.

“Genoa is my home, for me it’s like being in Latina,” Perin explained, comparing the port city to his home town.
“I’ve been at this club for seven years now. Another team? I’m not thinking about it, when you’re in a good place you don’t think about anything else.
“I can’t say I’ll stay here for life, but this is my home and at the moment I don’t see myself in another place.
“For me, the future is the League campaign I’m contesting with Genoa. No-one would have expected this, we’re having a great season and we want to continue as we have been.”
The 22-year-old also spoke about his regrets from 2014, and discussed his drink-driving charge.
“Mistakes from 2014? When I was stopped while intoxicated.
“I want to be clear, I was not drunk, but I was over the limit.
“It was a mistake which I’ve tried to atone for by campaigning against drink-driving in conjunction with the police.”
