Juventus could reportedly lose Roberto Pereyra for 20 days after he suffered a suspected thigh strain against Atalanta.

The Argentine made his first start in a month for the Bianconeri in yesterday’s 2-0 win, but was forced off after 37 minutes.

Tuttosport have reported that the injury appears to be a thigh strain and that it could sideline the 24-year-old for 20 days.

This would see Pereyra return to action after the November international break, but he will undergo tests today to find out the extent of the damage.

It appears likely that the former Udinese star could miss three Serie A matches and one Champions League game, returning in time for the league clash with Milan on November 21.

“I’m happy for the win, it’s a shame about the injury but already tomorrow I’ll be working to get back to the disposition of the squad as soon as possible,” Pereyra wrote on his Facebook page yesterday.
