Roberto Pereyra is at Juventus “to learn from great players who have won it all” and admits to Inter interest.

The 23-year-old completed his move today on loan from Udinese with option to buy for a total €15.5m, plus a further €1.5m in performance-related bonuses up to June 2020.

“I always train to perform the role the Coach asks of me, whether that is on the wing or central. I don’t have a preference, as I just want to help the team,” said the Argentine in his Press conference.

“I am proud to be here. I haven’t spoken to Massimiliano Allegri yet, but we will do soon. The team is full of great players, so I will train hard to be always ready when the Coach calls on me.

“There are players here who have won it all, over the next few weeks more of them will come in to start training and I’ll try to learn from them.”

In 2013-14 he played 43 games for Udinese in all competition, but scored only twice.

“I am working on that side of my game now, trying to get closer to the goal and hope to score more this season.”

Pereyra was also asked about reports Inter had been leading the race to sign him at one point.

“My agent told me of Inter’s interest, but I was relaxed. I came here because it’s a great team that does everything to win.”
