Rossi limped off during the 2-2 draw with Parma on Monday night and also missed Thursday’s 2-1 Europa League victory away to Dnipro.
He has shaken off the muscular problem and is in the squad travelling to Rome, although it remains to be seen if he will actually start.
Mario Gomez and Ante Rebic are unavailable, but Pizarro returns from his two-match ban, while Manuel Pasqual and Oleksander Iakovenko are back from injury.
