The Euro 2016 qualifier will kick off at the Ta’Qali National Stadium tomorrow at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

According to Quotidiano Sportivo, Sassuolo” data-scaytid=”6″>Sassuolo striker Simone Zaza will be dropped from the starting XI by Coach Antonio Conte.

Although Zaza had a great start to the season and scored against Norway, he has not found the net for club or country in a month.

It is the perfect opportunity for Conte to test out Pellè, who has been scoring regularly for years at club level for AZ Alkmaar, Feyenoord and now Southampton.

He is likely to partner Borussia Dortmund forward Ciro Immobile, while Marco Verratti is now fully recovered and could therefore replace Andrea Pirlo in midfield.

Zaza’s struggle for form is also good news for Mario Balotelli, who is now more likely to earn an Azzurri recall.

Conte has ignored Balotelli since taking on the Italy job in August, not calling the Liverpool star at all.
