The 23-year-old was snapped up by the Bianconeri in the January transfer window after a loan deal was done with French side Lorient.

The Swiss international responded to the move by scoring four goals in his first four Serie A games.

He was also on target in Saturday’s thrilling 2-2 draw with fellow relegation candidates Genoa.

Siena boss Beppe Iachini has likened the player to former Milan and Italy striker Pippo Inzaghi.
