Fiorentina “have already made an offer” for Union Berlin left-back Kristian Pedersen, confirmed the Danish Under-21 international.
He turned 23 last week and only left Denmark a year ago to begin a new experience in Germany.
“The Viola are interested and have already made an offer,” Pederson told Bild.
“Fiorentina showed the most concrete interest, even if other sides want me too. It would be wonderful to play in Serie A, but I try to focus only on facts and not rumours.

“I left it all in the hands of my agent and Union Berlin, a side I will be 100 per cent concentrated on until there is anything official.
“I am flattered by Fiorentina’s interest, just as other European clubs. I’ve only been here for a year, but football moves rapidly, so we’ll see what happens.”
Last season, Pedersen played 33 competitive games for the Bundesliga 2 club, contributing two assists.
