Parma have unveiled their three kits for the 2018-19 campaign, including a Phoenix to symbolise their rebirth from bankruptcy.

The Ducali went under in 2015 and had to begin again from Serie D, but became the first Italian club to win three back-to-back promotions.

“History, tradition and pride. Parma Calcio’s new Home Kit for the 2018/19 season designed by Erreà is a homage to the club’s roots,” read a statement.

“The kit consists of the classic black cross on white that takes inspiration from the legendary 1970s, with a special black polo-neck collar design that continues into the cross that is complemented by the double black trim on the sleeves.

“As with the other two kits that have been unveiled, the Home Kit also features the Phoenix which is the emblem of the club’s rebirth in recent years.

“On the Home Kit, it is printed inside the collar with yellow and blue stripes and it’s also embroidered in gold on the back. The back also features a crusader badge that enhances the lower part of the shirt.

“A tight fit and clean lines distinguish the retro-inspired shirt with its elegant design. The kit is completed by white shorts with black trim on the front or with black shorts that feature white inserts.”
