Sebastian Giovinco’s future could be decided in a blind auction, admit Parma and his agent, as talks with Juventus are delayed again.

The Atomic Ant is co-owned by the two clubs and the deadline for either extending that agreement or one of the sides buying him outright is at the end of the month.

“There was no meeting with the Bianconeri and there are no negotiations going on between the two clubs,” agent Andrea D’Amico told Sportitalia.

“It is all put back to next week. Parma have confirmed to me that Inter are also interested in the player.”

The plan would be for Parma to buy Giovinco outright and then sell him on to the Nerazzurri.

If the Ducali and Juventus do not agree on what to do next, then it will go to a ‘blind auction’ – both clubs put a figure in a sealed envelope and the highest bid wins the remaining 50 per cent of the player.

“There was no meeting and no agreement with the Bianconeri,” added Parma general manager Pietro Leonardi.

“There will be no summit before next week and we might have to go to a blind auction for the player.”

It has been reported Juventus are hoping to buy out the remaining 50 per cent of Giovinco’s contract for around €13m.
