Former Palermo boss Delio Rossi has told Rosanero fans that the side are unlikely to find themselves in the top 10 when the season ends.
The Sicilian giants have been troubling the European spots in recent history, but Rossi thinks that they may find 2012-13 a struggle.
“Palermo are a team whose cycle came to an end around two years ago,” Rossi, who left in the summer of 2011, told Sky Sport Italia.

“Palermo are a team whose cycle came to an end around two years ago,” Rossi, who left in the summer of 2011, told Sky Sport Italia.
“This summer they have sold important players like Federico Balzaretti and Giulio Migliaccio. Sure they have brought in new faces, perhaps valid ones, but they are not ready to do well immediately.
“We should expect Palermo to be battling on the right hand side of the table – 11th to 20th place – and they should be targeting survival.
“They should be able to ensure that though and with some tranquillity.”
