Palermo once again fumbled a lead and are surely heading for Serie B now, as Cagliari fought back to conquer the Stadio Barbera.

The Sicilians were jeered off the pitch by their home fans, as it had all started so well with Giancarlo Gonzalez – who was offside – tapping in from a deflected corner.

However, Artur Ionita equalised straight after the restart and Marco Borriello pounced on a loose ball to turn the game around 15 minutes later.
